During the wonderful days of summer, children at Miami Shores Montessori School Summer Camp will have the opportunity to explore, create and enjoy the summer with a variety of fun and creative activities that complement the Montessori Curriculum. Toddler Campers (18 months – 3 years old) will explore and experience Montessori lessons while striving to improve motor skills, language, and socialization skills along with weekly topics.
Primary and Elementary Campers (3 to 9 years old) will continue to enjoy the Montessori environment while focusing on major Cultural Science themes that vary from Festival of Nations and World Animal Safari to Science Discovery and Exploration.
New Campers will also have the opportunity to build a foundation with their future teachers and continue their transition into the Montessori setting.
Toddler, Primary and Elementary Campers will also enjoy the following activities:
• Yoga
• Spanish
• Music and Rhythm• Art and Craft Projects
• Cooking and Gardening
• Water play
• In-house shows and field trips
(ex: Story Telling Shows, Science Adventures, Miami Museum of Science, the Little Farm, etc...)
Camp Hours
Hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for Half Day or 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Full Day. Care will be available before 8:45 a.m. and after 3:00 p.m. for students enrolled in the Extended Care Program (extra fee applies).
